The Internet is a huge endeavor. Every time you log on you find another umpteen sites have been started. You spend a good deal of time attempting to reach those that will benefit from what you have to say. Do you have stats in place to follow the progress of your blog or site? How do you know surfers or potential customers haven't passed you by for another blog? Have you been out here for a good while and made numerous posts to your blog? So numerous they fill pages?
You might want to take a look back at some of your older posts. Ones you haven't even considered for some time or forgotten you took the time to write. Do not be amazed if you find visitors have left comments at these older posts. Many visitors will dig deep into what you have to say and are happy they've stopped by your site. Some of their comments are extremely well written, some will simply be they agree or disagree with what you posted. Some will even expand on what you've written. These can really give your blog a lift with the Search Engines. Search Engines aside, the main thing visitors are telling you is that they appreciate what you've written.
Consider going back into your posts, find the comments left by visitors and send them a note. By the way, don't be afraid to tell them you just discovered the comment they left because this may be a reminder to them to check back into their posts. We all get busy and set out to write the next, great visitor-catching post. Let's not forget what we've written and those that may have read what we posted.
